Make sense of the English language using phonics. Give your child’s memory a boost with Visual Phonograms™ . Each flashcard features a hand-drawn picture to enhance recall of the sounds and to help distinguish between different letter combinations that make the same sound. For example, the phonograms er, ir, ur and ear all make the same sound (see product photo).

This professionally printed deck of 107 flashcards give visuals to each of those sounds so your child can 1) recognize the letter combination as one sound when they show up together in a word and 2) remember the spelling as he recalls the picture.

Each card includes teaching tips on the back, special notes and other phonograms that make the same sound.

You can use these with any Orton-Gillingham or Spalding Method phonics-based program. Just swap out the Visual Phonogram card for the sounds that give your child problems.
